Tina has considerable knowledge, expertise, and experience in personal training, nutrition, and yoga. Along with being fully certified in all these areas, Tina has taught and/or actively participated in a variety of sports and fitness activities for years and therefore brings a wealth of personal experience and understanding to any session. I have trained with Tina for several years and have also taken yoga for the past year. She is fantastic at both! I have always been thin, but for the first time in my life, I have toned muscles and feel strong! I even have guns! (If you want great arms, she’s your gal!) I have never sustained an injury from any workout with Tina, which is a first for me. She is careful about performing exercises correctly and is skilled at targeting and strengthening muscles to prevent injuries, such as rotator cuff. “I have been doing small group circuit training with Tina for the last 4 months. I didn't want to go back to a large gym for weight training, but wanted to add it back into my routine along with hot yoga and Zumba toning.
Tina is very knowledgeable about proper form, technique and exercise science.
I had been struggling with frozen shoulder with some impingement, which has completely resolved after training with Tina. I also wanted to train again with weights to increase my bone density (so important as we age) and improve my muscle tone after not going to the gym for a while.
She carefully and thoughtfully plans each session so we never seem to do the same exercise twice and they're always challenging and fun.

“One evening, watching TV on the couch, my hip started to hurt without any obvious injury. By the time I went to bed, it hurt so bad, I couldn't get comfortable or fall asleep. When I changed positions, the pain moved to different parts of my leg - my hip, my hamstring, my knee, and my calf - up and down my leg depending on the position. I couldn't sleep at all that night. In the morning, I could barely walk and had to clutch my hip to get around. Tina listened to my symptoms, asked a few questions, and tested me on a few positions and stretches. She had me do a number of targeted stretches over the next hour and the pain subsided quickly! By the afternoon, the pain was almost gone and I was able to get a nap! I couldn't believe how fast I found relief after spending the entire night hurting, with no end in sight. By the next day, I was back to walking my daily five miles!
